About Jim & Ron

Jim RosettiJames (Jim) Rosetti, is an author, lecturer, musician and band leader. Jim has an MBA in Marketing and Business Administration, he has 30-plus years experience as a sales and marketing executive, and as an entrepreneur. Jim started and operated his own marketing and consulting business in South Florida where he resided for many years. Jim also operated an infomercial production company where he introduced products worldwide through television, radio, and the world wide web.

Jim also served on the staff at the Small Business Development Center at Florida Atlantic University, an agency of the US Small Business Administration. Jim launched the nationally syndicated radio show "BIZ TALK" and hosted the nationally syndicated PBS-TV series entitled "START YOUR OWN BUSINESS". Jim is past-president of the SCORE Chapter #382 in the Fox Cities, a volunteer program and resource partner of the Small Business Administration headquartered in Washington D.C. SCORE is known as "Counselors to America's Small Business".

Jim has consulted to large and small business entrepreneurs all over the country including Fortune 500 companies. He authored the book "Boot-Strap Marketing, Streetwise Strategies". Jim continues to lecture and present business seminars at Chambers of Commerce. Jim has vast experience negotiating on behalf of his clients and has been instrumental in procuring millions of dollars in venture and angel seed capital for many national corporations and start-ups. Some of those clients and corporations have started small and are now listed among the esteemed Inc 500 group, a list compiled and published in Inc Magazine. "BIZ TALK" continues to air on WHBY 1150AM in the Fox Cities.


Ron NielsenRon Nielson has over 30 years of diversified business experience. He has led Financial and Human Capital Management functions in a $2.3 billion subsidiary of a Fortune 500 manufacturer. He served as General Manager of privately held, $8.1 million Corporation and is Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt Trained.

Ron has been a Business Coach (AdviCoach) since 2009. He works with success minded business owners who want to accelerate their business success by helping them rapidly increase profitability, and helping them build a team to run the business for them so they can take more control of their time.

Using principles of Lean Manufacturing, Ron led an Operational Management Team that reduced costs and cycle times by 27%.

Ron directed Human Resources for 7 international locations, large manufacturing plant and distribution center with over 1,700 employees. He managed domestic employee benefit plans, reducing healthcare costs by 7.5%, re-engineered recruitment processes, reducing the costs by over $400,000 annually, negotiated contracts with private and public unions, resulting in over $1,000,000 annual savings, re-emphasized safety and ergonomics producing over $200,000 savings in lost-time accidents.

Ron led the design of an employee performance management process that aligned pay with overall business goals, developed an innovative recruiting website and created employment-branding strategy. He also designed compensation and incentive pay plans.

Ron graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1977 with a degree in Finance and an additional emphasis in marketing. He earned Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in 2001.
